It's been a while...

I haven't updated in a while! Here's why: The T-Man was officially diagnosed with autism on April 20, 2015 and to say I have been busy since then is an understatement. I have been taking him to lots of appointments and have been reading up and going to classes to learn more about it. He has started speech, occupational therapy. and am grateful to say that he was able to get into The Arizona Autism Charter School. I went to the Arizona Autism Conference at AZA United, the same place where he has taken a summer social skills class and currently takes speech. We had our DDD, (Department of Developmental Disabilities), and ALTCS, (Arizona Long Term Care System), appointments and am grateful to report that he was approved for both. Lastly, I was able to hire my sister to be his habilitation specialist. I'm still waiting for her to finish training so she can start, (and boy am I eager for her to do so)! When she starts, I will have more time on my hands to sit in front of the television and eat bon bons...YEAH RIGHT! It's funny how some people still think that, that is what a SAHM, (stay-at-home-mom), does!
In other news, The J-Man is now in pre-school so that is a blessing! He is coming out of his shell more and more each day. He was super-shy but not so much anymore. I went to pick him up a couple weeks ago and his teacher informed me he had done some interesting artwork. I looked, and it turns out his "artwork" was marker drawn all over some classroom shelves, AAAAHHHHH! I cleaned it up of course, she was nice about it. Even at home there is never a dull moment:

Thats Tang all over the coffee table.
This is the J-Man who apparently went swimming in it.
Since he has so much energy, I enrolled him in soccer. He loves being outside, and had fun at practice so I thought this was going to be a winner! Today was his first game. I have no pictures or video because my little ball of energy decided he was NOT going to put his team shirt on or play the game at all. He cried the entire time and wouldn't place one foot on the field, LOL! Maybe as he goes to more practices, he'll become less shy and play. Oh well!
I can hear that I am now being paged upstairs in the form of The Little crying his eyes out, so I guess my "free" time is up. "Free Time" Ha Ha! LOL!
